By hiring a professional photographer you are making an investment in yourself. Sure anyone can take a photo of you, but can they help you achieve what you really want? Most clients come to me because they want to get more clients with a headshot that makes them look welcoming and trustworthy or land the job of their dreams.

This package is for professionals seeking headshots for their online profiles, press releases and advertising. It includes one high resolution retouched photo per look. Depending on the quality of light natural or studio lighting may be used. Approx. 10-20 shots of each look will be taken before we review the images side-by-side on a large screen, so that together we can easily determine which are your best shots or make adjustments before moving on to the next look.

You will then be provided with low resolution JPEGs in a private online gallery to share it with friends and family to help you choose your final image to be retouched. Retouched images will be provided within 2 days unless they are rush ordered.

Tell me what you need, any ideas you have about what you want to achieve. If you are not sure exactly what you want or need, I can help answer questions and give you a few ideas about what might work for you. Get help about deciding what type of outfits will work for the look you want.

To capture the best headshots and portraits, I want to know more about you too. What drives you and brings you joy? What do you like about the the work you saw in my portfolio?

Booking a session is easy! A 50% retainer is required to hold appointments that's payable through PayPal or Venmo, so your credit card information stays confidential. You are also welcome of drop off retainers at the studio too. I will email you an agreement for you to review and sign prior to the session, so we will have more time to shoot the day of your session.

If you would like to have any images retouched to improve your overall appearance, just email me the image number and describe what you want improved. For additional basic retouching, it costs $30 per image. For more advance retouching ask for an estimate. If you need Hollywood style retouching I'm a pro, so what you dream can usually come true!

To look your best, in the days leading up to your session try to relax, drink plenty of water to hydrate your skin, wear lip balm, get a good nights rest, and do not consume alcohol or recreational drugs.

If you need a haircut or color your hair, do it 1-2 weeks prior.

Men should think about if they want stubble or not. Please shave prior to arriving if you want a clean face.

Please arrive with your hair styled.

Brush your teeth just before you come.

Try not to wear glasses unless it is necessary, so they do not leave impressions on your skin. We can also shoot you in glasses too!

When deciding on your wardrobe think about the purpose of your headshot. Do you want to get a new job, market yourself to new clients, find a date, or look more professional?

You do not have to break the bank if you need some new wardrobe items. Many stores have return policies that makes it easy to "borrow" some cloths for your shoot. Just make sure you steam them to remove creases before your session.

Choose colors that will compliment your eyes, hair and complexion. If you have blue eyes, wear blue. If you have red hair, teal always looks nice. If you have dark skin, lighter and brighter colors add nice contrast. If you are pale, darker to medium tones will add contrast so you pop more. Unless you want to look dark and mysterious, please do not wear all black.

DO bring blazers, sports jackets, sweaters, button shirts, t-shirts, blouses, scarfs or neckties. If you want more looks, wearing layers is an easy and quick way to do it! I suggest bringing a variety of options with you so I can help you choose an outfit that will make you look your best, even if we are just shooting one look.

Ladies, please bring a few different neckline options: collar, boat neck, ruffle, crew. For professional pictures you should not wear a shirt that is too low cut. Keep it conservative. But if you need headshots for dating, a little cleavage is okay.

I do not like to overly pose my clients so they do not end up looking stiff and feeling insecure. Instead I prefer to give some tips as we go along to help you remember to look your best.

Look in the mirror and decide which side you look the best. No ones face is perfectly symmetrical. Do you look better on your left or right side? If one of your eyes is larger than the other, it is best if the larger eye is further from the camera since objects closer to the camera appear even larger.

Practice your smile. While shooting I try to make it a fun experience to put you at ease. I am a photographer and not a comedian, so let me know what makes you happy. Also give me a heads up if something tragic happened recently, so I do not accidentally ask you if you have a pet to only learn it died the week before.

We will chat for a bit before we start to shoot to help you feel more comfortable and to get to know each other. But while we shoot try not to talk too much. If I ask you about something to help you relax, just think about the answer until I drop the camera.

Play with your hair. If you have longer hair, lets move one side behind your shoulder and the other side out front. Move your hair all in front and also try placing it behind your shoulders too. Also pull your hair back using a rubber band or clip. Twirl your hair with your hands or pull it back with your hands.

Remember to also move your body. A wide stance with your legs further apart and firmly on the ground will make you look more confident and powerful. Legs crossed will make you look softer and more at ease. Be aware of your posture. Push your shoulder back and your crest forward. If you place your hands on your waist, twist so we can see the space between your body and arms. Try crossing your arms—ladies should cross arms more loosely than men to appear softer such as leaving one hand on top of your arm rather than both tucked in. Try lightly touching under your chin on the back of your fingers with your hand relaxed.

Most importantly I will show you how to position your head so that it gives you a nice jawline and no double chin! Let's say it is kind of like a turtle pose where you push your head forward from your chin. You will notice the difference when we review your shots.
